How do I apply to be an official Race Charity?

The application process for existing and new charities to apply for reserved Official Race Charity places has now closed.

 

I am a new charity and would like to find out more information about the official race charity scheme.

All details and rules regarding the charity scheme can be found in the charity information pack which is published on the Information for Charities page on our website.

 

How do I know if my application has been successful?

You will receive an email from the Race Secretary confirming your charity team and providing you with details of how to register runners.

 

How much are the charity entries?

Full details of the charity entry packages is contained within our Information pack

 

How do the runners register themselves to the team?

The Race Secretary will send the charity contact full details of how to apply. The charity will either send these onto the runners or will register the runners on their behalf.

 

When is the closing date for applications?

Existing race charities – Friday 31st May 2013

New race charities – Friday 26th July 2013


When is the closing date to register entries?

Friday 24th January 2014. The deadline will be strictly enforced, and no entries or substitutions will be possible after this date.

 

How do I cancel one of our runners?

Please complete an online cancellation form with details of the charity name and charity contact. Please note that refunds cannot be given where charities are unsuccessful in recruiting runners to fill places however substitutions can be made for injured runners up to the point when charity entries are closed - date to be confirmed

 

When will I receive my race pack?

Race packs will be sent out from mid-January and will be sent to the address used during registration. 

 

Can I transfer unsold entries over to the 2014’s race?

Charities that have bought more than 50 places at the 2013 Bath Half can opt to carry forward unsold places into the 2014 half marathon for an additional fee of £15 plus VAT per place

 

Will there be parking available on the day?

We do not have any provision for parking on the day however there is pay and display car parks in close proximity as well as park and rides around the city
