Q. - What date is the 2014 Bath Half ?

A. - The race is on Sunday 2nd March 2014


Q. - How old must I be to enter the half marathon ?

A. - Half marathon entrants must be 17 years or older on race day. Younger runners can take part in the Family Fun Run.


Q. - How can I enter the Bath Half?

A. - Please visit the entries page on our website to enter. Entries are sold on a first come first served basis so please register as soon as possible to secure your entry into the 2014 Bath Half.


Q. - Can you resend my registration confirmation ?

A. - Please log into your registration using the email address and password where you can view your entry and print/email your confirmation.


Q. - I'm injured and won't be able to run.  Can I  transfer my entry to a friend ?

A . Entries to the Bath Half Marathon are personal to the applicant, and race numbers cannot be sold or transferred. Any runner who competes in another person's race number will be disqualified.  


Q. - How can I alter my personal details including estimated finishing time ?

A. - In order to change any details on your entry please complete an online enquiry form and we will email you with confirmation when the changes have been made. No changes to entries are permitted after 26th December 2013.


Q. - How do I cancel my entry ?

A. - In order to cancel your entry, please complete the online cancellation form. If you are cancelling before the 26th December 2013, please state whether you would like a £10 refund or a £10 credit to the Bath Half 2015.


Q. - Can I  run wearing an IPod, MP3 Player or other personal stereo device ?

A. - We are a 2-lap course and we need runners to be able to hear our marshals who will ask the main field to move over as the faster runners and accompanying vehicles overtake them at speed on their second lap. We occasionally need to get emergency vehicles along the course too. If you really can't run without headphones then we ask that you to please wear just one ear-piece so that you are able to hear the marshal's instructions and emergency vehicles - it's really important, and for your own safety. 


Q. - How do I create a Corporate Challenge team?

A. - To register your team name please complete a Corporate Challenge Team Name Registration Request


Q. - When will I receive my race pack ?

A. - Race packs will be sent out mid-January.


Q. - How long is the half marathon course ?

A. - The half marathon covers a two lap 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic-free course straddling both sides of the River Avon. The race starts and finishes in Great Pulteney Street, in the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath.

Q. - What time does the race start ?

A. - The Half Marathon starts at 11:00am. The Family Fun Run will begin at approximately 11:20am


Q. - Will there be parking available on the day ?

A. - We do not have any provision for parking on the day however there is pay and display car parks in close proximity as well as park and rides around the city


Q. Will there be extra train services on race day?

A. - Details will be released nearer to race day.
